Ultimate Survivor: Live! is a game mode for Garry's Mod that brings fast-FPS gameplay to the Battle Royale genre. Players take on the role of a reality show contestant with a retro-futuristic aesthetic and the goal is to become the ultimate survivor.
The mod adopts a frenetic gameplay, underlined by its artistic direction which evokes the synthwave aesthetic but also the American pop-culture of the 80's through weapons and elements from classic action movies of this period. It is through these overpowered weapons that the players will confront each other on a level with a shrinking surface area, pushing them to confront each other as the game progresses. While players who are killed will be sent to a spectator zone where they can meet up and wait for the next game, the last two remaining players are sent to a duel zone to determine who will become the Ultimate Survivor.

The mode has been published on the Steam Workshop and game servers have been made available where streamers and youtubers such as Squeezie, Bob Lennon, Locklear and Doigby have already been able to compete live.
